RIO DE JANEIRO -(Dow Jones)- After-market trading on Brazil's Bovespa Stock Exchange amounted to 80.98 million Brazilian reals ($43.5 million) Monday, the exchange said.
Most-traded shares included oil giant Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR) with BRL18.47 million, mining mammoth Vale SA (VALE) with BRL10.14 million and paper company Suzano Papel e Celulose (SUZB5.BR) with BRL4.35 million. Brazil stocks closed 1.79% higher Monday at 66,571 points. Volume was below average at BRL5.7 billion.
