Chrysler's back to the wall.
Never mind a contagion making us ill.
We've got apparently a failed rescue making some investors sick.
Here's the deal:
No deal for Chrysler. No other option "for" Chrysler.
So it's filing for bankruptcy.
Briefly, it hopes.
No guarantees, we know.
That's the thing about bankruptcy.
Some get out of it ok, others never get out at all.
It's a market mechanism for which markets decide whether the mechanism works.
Not the government.
The market.
It's a roll of the dice.
A roll not even considered back a couple months ago when we gave them billions.
A roll rationally offered now that we have.
Pity, this option wasn't discussed then.
Never mind, it is now.
To the bigger point now.
